A wonderful eveningwear fabric from a NY designer!! The underlayer is a very sheer black viscose crepe, and it's completely embellished with rounded-edge squares of black faux-leather and faceted glass sequins (in roughly a 3 to 1 ratio of leather to glass), hand-sewn in informally arranged rows. The sequins have a leathery sheen that give it a bit of attitude and forward-looking style. Wonderful drape, perfect for a special event garment, anything from a drapey over-jacket to tunic or top, dress or gown. Dry clean only.
