From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a lovely, almost featherweight printed sweater knit. The viscose/elastic content lends a subtle sheen and provides about 30% stretch in the width and 10% stretch in the length. It has an extremely soft hand and a slightly fuzzy surface texture. This fabric is very drapey and skims rather than clings for a flattering and comfortable character. It has tiny stitches and is opaque. The "illustration" print features a mix of bold floral blooms and graphic linework with a 14.5" vertical repeat. The color story is rust, a range of yellows, tealy blues, white and true black printed on a white base. Make a lightweight cardigan, wrap, shrug, top, tee, tunic, pullover, dress or skirt, etc. Hand wash, or machine wash gentle in mesh bag, and lay flat to dry, or dry clean.
