From Italian designer deadstock, this is a soft and luxurious sweater knit in an elegant oat tone with metallic gold threads knitted throughout. A medium weight and nearly opaque, with a weightless feel despite its cozy and richly dimensional texture. It offers 30% stretch in the width and some give in the length. The face is a plain knit stitch and the reverse shows the purl stitch, both with a fantastic slubiness which lends additional textural interest. The content is a virgin wool and a small percentage of Lurex. Best for drapey, unstructured styles. Make a gorgeous pullover, lightweight cardigan, shawl or scarf, etc. Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry, blocking as you would any fine sweater knit to maintain its original shape, iron on low.
