From a Dutch supplier of eco-friendly fabrics, this is a wonderful softshell that is water-resistant, windproof and insulated with an ultra-soft fleece backing. It has about 10% stretch in the width only due to a small amount of elastic content, but it is very stable and does not fray. A breeze to cut and sew! The face and fleece backing are a gorgeous lagoon blue. It's more firm than drapey and the face has a soft and substantial character similar to scuba (neoprene). The perfect weight for a spring jacket, vest, children's coveralls, tote or backpack, etc. The manufacturer recommends hand or machine wash in cool water and hang to dry.
