'windowpane/stripe' reversible viscose blend ponte - graphite/blue

From The Netherlands, this is a gorgeous viscose blend doubleknit ponte, a versatile medium weight and truly reversible. The medium scale design features a windowpane plaid pattern printed in sky blue and graphite gray on the face, and the reverse is a yarn-dyed stripe running across the width in soft white and sky blue accented by a very thin black line. Both sides have a plain knit stitch and the fabric is completely opaque so there is no need to line it. It has some firmness in the drape with substance, but not at all dense. This is a very stable knit, with just 10% widthwise stretch and excellent recovery. It is also Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. Sew an unlined jacket, dress or skirt, suit, cigarette pants, etc. The manufacturer recommends hand or machine wash cool and lay flat to dry. iron on low.
