Italian jacquard stretch cotton woven - pearl/ginger

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a fabulous overprinted cotton jacquard with about 20% stretch in the width only. It has a base fabric with a slightly raised textured where the beautiful paisley jacquard weave occurs (6" repeat). It is opaque and medium weight with cottony body in the drape. The overprinted floral design (13.75" repeat) features shades of ginger, basil, golden wheat, pomegranate, etc. on a pink pearl background (PANTONE 13-1108, 17-1444, 17-0230, 13-0939, etc.). It is perfect for a tunic, dress, skirt, kimono, overshirt, feminine suiting, lightweight jacket or topper coat, stretch slacks, etc. Dry clean, or test first if you wish to try hand- or machine-washing.
