From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this viscose/spandex knit, is soft, light weight and opaque with lots of drape. It has about 40% stretch horizontally and 20% vertically with great recovery. The "impressionist fields" graphic print has a 39" long repeat and features a stunning painterly scene in shades of jade, pink rose, sky blue, lavender, blue lake, kelp, poppy, etc. (PANTONE 16-5426, 18-3949, 18-2143, 18-1662, etc.). The scene does not have a clear delineation between the repeats, so it is sold by the yard rather than by the panel. The visible "knit stitch" that you see in the photos is a feature of the print---not the texture of the base fabric. So many fabulous options for pattern placement to create unique garments! Great for tees, tops, tunics, maxi dress, skirt, etc. Test first if you would like to hand or machine wash, cold, hang to dry.
