organic cotton GOTS 'flame' interlock' knit - pine .5 yds

From a wonderful supplier of organic fabrics, this beauty is an organic cotton/elastane interlock sweater knit with a lovely "flamé stitch" jacquard design. Produced in Turkey for a Danish company, the fabric is Oeko-Tex and GOTS certified, assuring organic fibers and non-toxic chemicals and dyes. It is medium-light weight and opaque with about 30% widthwise and 10% lengthwise stretch and good recovery. It has a soft drape with some body, and the color is a pine green (PANTONE 19-5513 is close) with a matte finish. The flame' texture is visible on the face, and the reverse is a plain knit stitch (wonderful for contrast sections!). Perfect for a cardigan, pullover, sweater dress, knit top, etc. Hand or machine wash cool, gentle, and lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean, do not tumble dry. Note the wide width!. .5 yds.
