French herringbone wool blend boucle' woven - Persian red/black 2.375 yds

This amazing beauty from French designer deadstock is a virgin wool blend boucle' coating with mohair, opaque with a loopy texture that is flattened for an incredibly soft and smooth surface texture. It is a medium coating weight with body in the drape, and it looks the same on both sides. The herringbone pattern is woven in with a repeat of about .75" in Persian red and black with some variation in the red tones (PANTONE 18-1449, 19-1525, etc.). There are some mohair fibers throughout, adding texture and dimension. Make a special tailored jacket or coat that you'll cherish for many years. Dry cleaning recommended. 2.375 yds.
