This is a gorgeous, yarn-dyed jacquard knit, a bit lighter in weight and drape than a doubleknit and not as heavy or firm as ponte. The wonderful "copper chevrons" pattern (.75" vertical repeat and 1.125" horizontal repeat) is knitted in black and metallic copper Lurex combined with a matte brown for a lovely glistening copper (PANTONE 19-1235, etc.). The back side is pretty as well, a melange with a copper sparkle and the same smooth texture as the face, so your garment may not need lining (a bit of the chevron pattern shows through to the reverse). It has 10% stretch in the width only and is opaque with some body in the drape. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, eye-catching jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, etc. So versatile! Dry clean or please test first if you wish to try either hand or machine washing (cold), hanging to dry or drying on low.
