Check out Kathryn's amazing Unlined Jacket tutorial using this exact fabric! From a CA designer, this is a stunning Italian yarn-dyed, mostly wool doubleknit with an off-black and shades of gray hatchy "plaid" design on the face, and tweedy light gray look on the reverse that can be used as contrast (PANTONE 16-0000, 11-4202, etc.). This wonderful fabric is medium weight and opaque, soft and warm with lovely drape. It has about 25% stretch in the width and just a bit of give in the length. It's perfect for a cardigan, sweater jacket, sweater dress, skirt, knit suiting, skinny pants, etc. Test first if you wish to hand wash, and hang or lay flat to dry, or dry clean.
