This is a wonderful cotton/spandex stretch French terry, imported from The Netherlands. It is opaque, drapey, a medium-light weight with a plain knit stitch on the face and a flat terry texture on the back. The fabric is soft and substantial, with about 20% stretch widthwise and 40% lengthwise. It is Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. The "knitter's rainbow" print (14" repeat) is jubilant, vibrant, bold, and definitely not for those who want to blend with the background! It features crimson, lilac, cobalt, jade, marigold, ballet pink, rose, etc. (PANTONE 17-1654, 17-3323, 18-4244, 15-5519, 14-1064, 13-1513, 17-2230, etc.).
