From a NY designer, this is a fabulous yarn-dyed virgin wool doublecloth woven (5.75" horizontal repeat on the striped side). One side is a shades-of-olive vertical stripe (PANTONE 17-0618, 17-1009...ish), and the other side is a dark heathered bark brown (PANTONE 19-1213-ish). The fabric is substantial yet super soft and malleable--a coating weight with some body in the drape. It would be perfect for a very simple coat or jacket for fall/winter such as Kathryn's reversible Balenciaga coat)! Dry cleaning is best.
