French floral printed stretch matelasse'- iris/jade

This is a wonderful textured stretch matelasse', a dress weight woven with 10% stretch in the width, 15% in the length. It is quite malleable with a bit of body in the drape and the base matelasse' design is a stylized floral in a silvery blue tone that you can see on the back. The face is completely over-printed with an iris, jade, sapphire and black floral with bits of the silver peeking through to give it a dressy look (PANTONE 17-3628, 16-5425, 18-4041, etc.). The texture is like a trapunto, with raised and recessed areas. The weight is so versatile---it's soft and malleable, and perfect for tops, tunics, jackets, dresses, skirts, skinny pants, etc. Dry cleaning is best.
