This is a fabulous 2-ply matelasse' knit with a textured floral lace on the face and a nylon sheer backing, nicely textured, semi-sheer with a soft drape that has some body. The color is black. It is medium weight with about 25% stretch widthwise and lengthwise, but is quite stable. It is perfect for a sheath dress, dressy suit, jacket, skirt, skinny evening pants, etc. Please test first if you wish to hand wash at home, or dry clean. 1.5 yds.
