Look what we found when doing inventory! If you are familiar with the French faux fur maker Tissavel, then you will understand what an incredible bargain this is, as they usually sell for upwards of $100/yd. This one is a plush and luxurious streaky fur with a 3/4" loft, espresso-tipped with desert sand roots (PANTONE 19-0812, 14-1110 are in the vicinity). Luxuriously soft and very fashion-forward! The backing is a woven, and you will probably want to line it with a bemberg or silk charmeuse or similar. Make a stunning coat, jacket or vest, or use for trim. Very malleable, cozy and warm. Much more beautiful in real life! Dry clean only.
Tip for cutting most faux furs: Cut with the wrong side up and slip your scissors through the backing only---do not cut through the fur! This will preserve the look of the fur at the cut edges and will also prevent the fibers from shedding and getting all over your workspace.. LAST PIECE, 2 yds, scant.
