From Sara Campbe11, this is a must have evening fabric! ...just perfect for a little black dress, suit, jacket or skirt, even slacks! It's a rib-textured 2-ply matelasse in deep black with teeny raised knots of sparkly thread holding the two layers together. The upper layer has a textured pattern of vertical tucks, and the under layer is more of a flat mesh. Each layer is semi-sheer, but together they are almost entirely opaque. Much more beautiful in real life! A sophisticated and elegant dress weight with lovely drape that has a bit of body. Dry cleaning recommended--test first if you wish to try washing at home.
