Italian cotton/silk/nylon 3-ply gauze - salmon

Limited yardage (10-11). An absolutely exquisite weave!! This is from a CA designer, made in Italy, and is a 3-ply gauze with cotton and silk fibers sandwiched between two layers of sheer white gauze. The fibers in the middle are watermelon and salmon, and when mixed with the sheer gauze the coloring becomes a lovely salmon pink and rose in a soft stripey pattern (PANTONE 13-1513, 16-1723, approx.). A surprising, exquisite and very unusual fabric, the effect is subtle and beautiful, and the fabric has a lovely drape and surprising substance, with body. Even with three layer it's a little bit sheer so some styles may need lining. It's perfect for a delicate jacket, dress, tunic, shawl, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
