French 'leather look' scrollwork matelasse' .75 yds

Just in with a new shipment from top French mills, this is an absolutely STUNNING matelasse', a highly-textured and dimensional brocade with a scroll work design (11" repeat). There's a glossy, leathery look to this that is rich and regal with a touch of rock star! The colors are a deep brick red (PANTONE 19-1655) and black, and the darker, recessed areas are more blackish than they appear in the photo. The reverse is mostly black and is not meant to be seen. It's a jacket and coating weight, and the drape is supple yet more firm. Choose a pattern with simple lines, as the fabric will speak for itself! Dry cleaning recommended. End of roll, .75 yds.
