From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a soft and cozy 100% wool textured twill. A medium weight woven that has a wonderful, beefy yet supple character and a sweatery hand. The color is a tweedy warm brown. It has substance and is opaque, but is not at all dense or heavy. This fabric has a beautiful, soft drape and is stable in both directions. A lovely choice for jackets, tunics, warm suiting, elegant separates, scarf, hat, etc. Hand or machine wash gentle and lay flat to dry, but always test first.
