From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a highly versatile lighter weight wool/cotton blend with a medium-scale yarn dyed plaid design. A very handsome fabric that could be considered a tropical suiting or a dressweight woven. It is opaque and stable with a dry hand and a bit of cottony crispness in the drape. A classic style in an excellent designer quality. The plaid pattern has a 3.625" repeat, and it looks the same on both sides. Suitable for formal occasions or everyday wear, depending on your vision. Make a lined or unlined lightweight jacket, trousers, vest, shirt, tunic, dress, skirt, scarf, etc. Machine or hand wash cool and lay flat to dry (please test first)
