deadstock 'folk embroidery' cotton mid-weight faille

From designer deadstock, this is a very unique printed all-cotton faille. It is an opaque, medium weight with a small-scale cord running widthwise. It is stable in both directions and has some crispness in the drape, similar to the characteristics of a mid-weight denim. The "folk embroidery" design is printed in a wide range of bright colors on a black background and emulates traditional Mayan embroidery. The reverse is bonded with a lightweight woven interfacing for a smooth and soft feel. Make a stunning shirt, lightweight jacket, fitted dress or skirt, pants, home decor, etc. Hand wash cool and lay flat to dry. Iron on low.
