From designer deadstock, this is a unique "homespun" cotton mid-weight woven with a prominent slub and the most gorgeous painterly scene. It is opaque and has a soft, dry hand with some cottony crispness in the drape akin to a softer mid-weight denim. While we wouldn't consider this fabric stretchy, the tiny bit of elastic content does provide some added ease widthwise. The jubilant "babbling creek" design has a 21" pattern repeat featuring flora and fauna in soft greens, warm pinks, browns and true blue on a soft white background. Make an incredibly unique pair of jeans, capris, shorts, a structured dress or skirt, an overshirt, lightweight jacket, tote or weekender bag, etc. Also wonderful for pillows and home decor. Hand or machine wash gentle, in cold water and hang to dry (please test first).
