Italian mohair blend open stitch sweater knit - black .5 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this beautiful sweater knit is a sophisticated basic with a soft hand and drape. It's a semi-opaque, slightly open sweater knit with a wonderful surface texture that includes a "smattering" of very fine longer fibers. It has 20% stretch in the width and is stable in the length with some give. The color is jet black. It is a simple knit with the right side showing the knit stitch, and the reverse showing the purl. Perfect for a lovely sweater, tunic, pullover, cardigan, scarf, etc. Some styles may need lining or layering. Dry clean, or hand-wash in baby shampoo (please test first). .5 yds.
