French 'flower silhouette' brushed wool/moh/alp jacquard woven

From French designer deadstock, this amazing brushed jacquard coating is a blend of virgin wool, mohair and alpaca wools and a low percentage of polyamide. The yarn-dyed "flower silhouette" design in the jacquard weave has an 18.75" vertical repeat and has a color story of basil green on an oatmeal background (PANTONE 12-0704, 18-0328). The face has a soft and richly textured brushed surface showing the longest fibers, and the back side is pretty as well, where you can see the weave more clearly because it is not brushed. This reverse could be used as contrast, or you can line your garment. It is perfect for a show-stopping winter coat or jacket. It is stable in both directions with a more firm drape. It is soft, cozy and "fleecy" but not at all scratchy, since it's very high quality. Dry cleaning recommended.
