Italian two-sided floral/abstract fleece/water resistant coating

From Italian designer deadstock, this fabulous wool blend fleece is a medium coating weight with no stretch and some body in the drape. One side is a soft and cozy wool blend knit with a brightly colored abstract pattern, and the reverse is a smooth WATER-RESISTANT (!) taffeta woven in bordeaux with a satin finish with a wool blend floral motif that attaches the two layers together. The color story is bordeaux, bright rose, dusky violet, dusky sky blue, etc. (PANTONE 19-1525 but lighter, 18-2120, 19-3730, 17-4336, etc.). Although the fleece has a knit construction, it is stabilized by the brushed texture and the taffeta woven on the reverse. Wonderful quality and perfect for fall/winter coats and jackets. The water-resistance of the taffeta is a great plus! Dry cleaning recommended.
