From Italy comes this wonderful viscose challis woven with a matte finish, using a new and more sustainable iteration of viscose called Ecovero. EcoVero is a viscose fabric made from sustainably sourced, renewable resources and the end product is completely biodegradable. The overall environmental impact is so low that it has been awarded the prestigious EU Ecolabel. EcoVero performs exceptionally well for everyday wear as it is very soft, comfortable, breathable and durable with a lovely drape. A wonderful choice for your professional wardrobe as well, as this fabric retains vivid color, does not pill and can mimic silk. EcoVero is an exciting development in eco-friendly fashion. This beauty is light weight and semi-opaque with a flowing, soft drape. The "lily and friends" design (24.25" repeat) features tones of green lake, limeade, sand and black on a light buff background (PANTONE 17-5528, 14-0446, 14-1118, 11-0602, etc.). It is perfect for a shirt, blouse, tunic, top, lined dress or skirt, etc. Hand wash, hang to dry (please test first), or dry clean.
