From Italy, this is a light weight seersucker-textured woven, nearly opaque with some cottony body in the drape. The weave creates that distinctive dimpled seersucker texture, and the "baby blooms" design (5.5" repeat) features a burst of colorful flowers in shades of ultramarine, crimson, dijon, and lilac, etc. on a dark navy background (PANTONE 17-4037, 19-1663, 16-0940, 14-2710, 19-3926, etc.). It has a bit of mechanical stretch due to give in the puckered weave, about 8% widthwise and just 5% lengthwise. It would make a wonderful summery shirt, blouse, tunic, dress or skirt, etc. Hand wash and hang or lay flat to dry (please test first).
