Italian burlwood fringed stripes clipped weave brocade

From Italy, this stunning clipped weave jacquard brocade woven is unique and fabulous! It has a fringed vertical stripe design (4.25" horizontal repeat) and lots of surface texture with various weaves that add depth, interest and design. Some parts of the background area of the fringed stripes have a reflective sheen. The colors are black and a pinkish-brown called burlwood (PANTONE 17-1516). It is opaque and medium-light weight with body in the drape. Make an evening jacket, sheath dress, kimono, etc. (Some day we will celebrate special occasions again!!) The reverse is shown in the second photo as it comes off the roll. Dry cleaning recommended.
