I (Linda) would reeeeally like to just keep this all to myself, but I have to share! This amazing sweater knit, made in Italy, is very tightly knit with a brushed texture, medium weight and opaque with a lot of body in the drape. It is very stable with about 20% mechanical widthwise stretch. The yarn-dyed graphic pattern has a vertical striping in black and stone, while the reverse has a more variegated, tweedy look that is perfect for contrast. It hardly frays at all, and has a wonderfully soft hand; it would make a fabulous fitted cardigan, sweater jacket, topper coat, winter skirt, etc. This would also work beautifully for one of Kathryn's unlined "jersey" jackets! See the tutorial. Dry cleaning recommended, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit.
