Abraham vintage couture silk jacquard - cherry/buttercup

This stunning silk print is from the famous Abraham Ltd. company based in Zurich, a supplier of the highest quality silks to many of the top couture houses in the latter part of the 20th century. This blouseweight silk jacquard has a tight weave and a very smooth texture, and is opaque with a soft and floaty drape. The jacquard weave has an abstract dot design, and the stylized flower print (22.75" repeat) features shades of cherry, purple, gunmetal and white on a buttercup yellow background (PANTONE 13-0755, 18-1660, 18-3518, 18-0503). This is a vintage fabric, perhaps a collector's item! Perfect for a blouse, top, tunic, dress, lining for a couture jacket, etc. Dry clean only.
