NY designer sculpted faux fur - black coffee/mocha

This luxurious faux fur is a sculpted and shorter-hair fur, super soft and rich, with a mottled coloring in black coffee and mocha tones (PANTONE 19-4023, 19-0809 ...ish). Scrumptuous! The backing is a stable knit in mocha, not really meant to be seen, so you will want to line your garment with a Bemberg or silk charmeuse. There is some widthwise stretch, about 10%, but as mentioned it's very stable. It's a supple coating weight with some body in the drape, not super thick, so it would make a stunning coat, jacket, vest, or trim. Dry clean only.

Tip for cutting most faux furs: Cut with the wrong side up and slip your scissors through the backing only---do not cut through the fur! This will preserve the look of the fur at the cut edges and will also prevent the fibers from shedding and getting all over your workspace.
