Italian ribbon sheer stripe overprinted fancy woven

This Italian novelty weave from a very famous designer is smart, stylish and super modern! It alternates ribbon-like stripes with very sheer mesh in a narrow repeat. The underlying fabric stripes run lengthwise but the printed stripes run widthwise, and your garment can be oriented in either direction, or a mix of both! The printed stripes have a large repeat, 41.5", and include a pattern of black, white, french blue, grenadine, pink rose and yellow, etc. (PANTONE 16-1451, 18-2143, 16-4032, etc.). The drape is like organza (a bit firm), and all but the bottom photo show how it comes off the roll. On the bottom photo the fabric is turned so that the selvages are "north and south". It is sheer and crisp, and best for an overlay for a pouffy skirt, tunic, jacket, dress, sheer evening coat, etc. Dry clean, or test first if you wish to try hand- or machine-washing. Hang to dry.
