French cotton blend navy/shimmer fancy weave 1.5 yds

From a recent French shipment, this is a beautiful novelty weave suiting, with a "wavy navy" design that has a mix of matte/opaque and shimmery/sheer yarns with shots of off white that add dimension and contrast (PANTONE 19-3920). It has a more firm drape, a bit like raffia, and uses fibers of various textures and thicknesses to create its slatted, "peek-a-boo" look. Make a fabulous jacket or topper coat, and play with the direction of the stripes to achieve any number of striking and unique garments. One side shows more white than the other.
