A1ice & O1ivia sapphire textured matelasse'

A spectacular 2-ply matelasse' brocade from A1ice & O1ivia, made in Italy, a highly textured woven with two organza-like layers with yarns sandwiched in between, with some areas all woven tightly together and other areas where the three layers are separate, to form a flower-bud like design. The color is a mix of french blue and midnight, which give the overall impression of sapphire blue (PANTONE 16-4020, 19-3908). It is a semi-opaque medium suiting weight with a firmer drape, and is perfect for a special jacket or evening coat, sheath dress, skirt, etc. Some of the fibers have a reflective sheen that adds to its evening look. Dry cleaning recommended.
