Italian matelasse knit - scallop woodcut .9 yds

This Italian beauty is from a NY designer and is a cotton/poly yarn-dyed, textured matelasse' knit. It has a scalloped woodcut-style design in black and white (mostly black on the reverse), and is soft and cottony with a slightly textured surface. The weight and drape are similar to a doubleknit with about 35% widthwise stretch, 15% lengthwise. Make a fabulous fitted dress, knit jacket, pencil skirt, knit suit, tunic, an upscale hoodie, etc. The drape has some body and the cotton blend is comfortable and versatile!
