French 'quilted' matelasse' 3-ply jacketwear

Just in with a fresh new shipment from France and Italy, this is a fabulous yarn dyed 3-ply matelasse' woven with a quilted look with a beautiful texture and exquisite irridescent mulberry coloring (somewhere between PANTONE 18-3012 and 18-3220). The upper layer is a poly/nylon crossweave of mulberry and silver fibers, the "stuffing" is a poly wool in darker purple, and the under layer is a fine and sheer layer of silvery nylon fibers. It's medium weight, lofty yet not heavy, and opaque with drape that has a good bit of body and texture. Perfect for a jacket or coat, vest, etc. and can be dressed up or down. Garments should be lined as the underlayers should be hidden. Dry cleaning recommended.
