NY designer boxy geometric faux fur - blue/mink

This fun faux fur from a NY designer is thick (1" pile) and silky soft with a stable knit backing. The design is a boxy geometric with a 19.5" repeat in tones of French blue, mink, shades of brown, white, blue-gray, etc. (PANTONE 17-3936, 19-0617, 18-4011, etc.). Scrumptuous! The backing is a flat knit with the same geometric pattern as the fur, but you will probably want to line your garment with a Bemberg or silk charmeuse. It's very drapey, supple and thick, so it would make a stunning coat, jacket, vest, or trim. Dry clean only.

Tip for cutting most faux furs: Cut with the wrong side up and slip your scissors through the backing only---do not cut through the fur! This will preserve the look of the fur at the cut edges and will also prevent the fibers from shedding and getting all over your workspace.
