From a CA designer, and made in Italy, this soft and lovely cotton/wool double-sided knit is tightly knit with a sweatery hand and lovely drape that has body. It is medium weight, like a doubleknit, and opaque, with about 25% widthwise stretch and just a bit in the length. On the face is a rose and white micro-tweed and on the back is mostly white, with just a faint shading of the rose color (PANTONE 18-2326-ish). It's a wonderful basic perfect for any number of cardigans, sweater jackets, tunics, drawstring pants, skirts, sweater dresses, etc. So soft and comfy! Test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat to dry, or dry clean.
