Since you all are loving the French jacquards, I got the last of this beauty, which I first purchased last year. I saved some for myself at the time, and made the top shown below. It's a fabulous fabric which has gone through the washer and dryer a number of times and still looks great.
This comes from a top French mill, and I'm in love! It's a wonderful dress/shirting weight jacquard, with a very cool circles and squares graphic design in a complex blend of black and white fibers to create shades of gray. The weave is beautiful and there's a crinkle texture to the fabric that adds dimension and interest. It has a soft and malleable cottony drape. This fabric is perfect for dresses, shirts, skirt, tops, tunic...very versatile, modern and urban! Please test first if you wish to wash at home, or dry clean.
