First, about the fabric: it is a new technology polyester woven that mimics the qualities of silk, and this one is very much like a charmeuse but with a more matte finish. It's a drapey dress weight, elegant, opaque, and a beautiful quality alternative to silk. The print is a "museum tapestry" stripe with a 30" repeat, and a wonderful weathered look.
