Another extraordinary fabric, MUCH more wonderful in real life! From a NY designer, this is an Italian textured matelasse' knit with a textured scroll design that has a 25" repeat (textured on the face, and smoother on the back). The color is black, and it has the weight and drape of a ponte or doubleknit, opaque with body in the drape, and about 10% stretch in the width. Make a fabulous fitted dress, cardigan jacket, pencil skirt, suit, tunic, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
