Italian textured matelasse 'ponte' - black .75 yds

Another extraordinary fabric, MUCH more wonderful in real life! From a NY designer, this is an Italian textured matelasse' knit with two design "panels" running the length of the fabric, and a macro-pique texture in between. There are 7" borders along each selvedge, a 14" vertical repeat, and a 29" horizontal repeat. Textured on the face, and smoother on the back. The color is black, and it has the weight and drape of a thick ponte or doubleknit, opaque with body in the drape, and about 15% stretch in the width only. Make a fabulous fitted dress, cardigan jacket, pencil skirt, suit, tunic, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. LAST PIECE, .75 yds.
