This is an absolutely exquisite quality brushed wool sweater knit in black, a substantial single knit construction with about 8% stretch in the width only---quite stable and finely knitted. One side has a brushed finish that looks like boiled wool, the other side is more of a plain knit but very tight and close. A luxury basic from Italy, so beautiful and well worth the price.
