From deadstock of the Italian designer, this is a fantastic wool blend double cloth knit, a reversible heavier weight sweater knit that is malleable and has body in the drape. The yarn-dyed stripe design has a 3.875" repeat featuring currant, storm blue, dark olive and dark charcoal gray, and the reverse is a solid midnight blue with subtle fibers of the colors from the top layer throughout (PANTONE 17-4027, 19-1664, 19-0512 but darker, 19-3920 but darker, etc.). The layers can be easily separated to create a truly reversible garment. The surface is brushed for a very soft and slightly fuzzy texture, adding a bit of dimension and depth. Exquisite quality, and note the extra width! Perfect for a winter coat or jacket, cardigan, warm dress, vest, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended.
