Description

This is a beautiful midweight cotton denim with just a touch of stretch in the width only. The color is a pitch black (both warp and weft yarns are true black). A truly lovely quality in a versatile midweight that is fully opaque. It has about 5% stretch and some crispness in the drape which will soften with washing. The selvage has a very nice, white double-pinstripe and a short fringe. This coveted style of selvage denim can be aligned with your pattern pieces to sew designer quality jeans, jackets, overshirts, a tailored dress or skirt, shorts, tote bags or a lovely apron that will last a lifetime. Prewash separately and hang to dry (please test first). Launder your completed garment inside out to retain the dark color.
