deadstock 'red earth 2' ice dyed faux leather

From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is an absolutely phenomenal find, a lighter weight faux leather with a mesmerizing ice dyed design on the face and a charcoal gray back side. The face has a very smooth surface with a matte finish, and the ice dyed effect provides great variation throughout. This is not a print or tie dye with a repeating design, but every yard is completely unique. We therefore cannot predict what colors or composition will be included in your cut. The reverse has a fine leathery texture and occasionally the dye from the front does show through. Please preview all provided images to get a sense of this wildly unique material.  This fabric is wind proof and water repellant with some give in both directions and excellent recovery. Make a showstopping trench, moto-jacket, skirt, purse or bag, belt, hat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended with no trichloroethylene.

Please note: There are two variations of this fabric. The primary difference between 'red earth 1' and 'red earth 2' is the slight difference in width along with a different shade of gray on the reverse side.
