Italian 'caribbean seas' semi-sheer cotton challis .625 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a wonderfully unique printed cotton challis. Very lightweight and semi-sheer, it has an unusually soft hand for cotton (it feels more like viscose, but a burn test confirmed that it IS cotton) and a floaty drape with a subtle crepe texture. The bold and conversational 'caribbean seas' print (31.5" repeat) features a lively nautical scene in shades of blue sage, buttercream, chestnut, terracotta, soft black, with occasional dusty lavender, periwinkle and chili (PANTONE 15-6310, 12-0720, 17-3313, 16-4120, 18-1448, 15-1237, etc.). Perfect for a kaftan, kimono-style robe, blouses, shirts, tunics, etc. The reverse is almost as saturated as the face. Some styles will need lining or layering.
