MTM organic cotton 'about a dot' sweater knit - space/wine 1.4 yds

From Mind the Maker, a wonderful supplier of organic fabrics, this is an organic cotton brushed jacquard knit with a sublimely soft surface. Produced in Turkey for the Danish company, this fabric is Oeko-Tex and GOTS certified, assuring organic fibers and non-toxic chemicals and dyes. It is medium weight with body in the drape and about 20% widthwise stretch. The right side has an amazingly soft brushed texture akin to flannel. The fabulous and very current "about a dot" design (16" vertical repeat) features large and randomly placed deep wine-red dots on a midnight space background (PANTONE 19-3905, 18-1619). The reverse (not brushed) has a tweedy mix of the two colors with a "shadow" of the dot design and is not really meant to be seen. This gem is perfect for hoodies, soft jackets, cardigans, dusters, sweater dress, kids clothing, tunic, top, etc. Manufacturer recommends hand wash and lay flat to dry, or you could try a gentle machine wash in a garment bag, but please test first. 1.4 yds.
