This is an absolutely gorgeous, heavier weight wool blend boucle' sweater knit from Italian designer deadstock, cozy and thick with lots of texture with horizonal stripes in magenta, moss, winter white, tan, deep space, etc. (PANTONE 18-3339, 11-0602, 18-0422, 19-3905, etc.). This fabric is an interesting combination of knit and woven construction. Thicker yarns are woven horizontally through a flatter knit backing of a deep brown/tan mélange. The brown back side can be used as contrast. It is a chunky sweater weight with about 20% widthwise stretch (stable in the length) and a firmer drape. Make a stunning structured cardigan, sweater jacket or cozy topper coat, etc. Treat as you would any fine wool based sweater knit.
